Almost 700 groundhogs are registered on the Reykjanes peninsula at midnight. Most of them were a landslide from Fagradalsfjall, whose seismic activity started around midnight yesterday.
In total, there have been 2,500 earthquakes this year, the Iceland Meteorological Agency announces.

Morgunblaðið knows this to say the first part.
From 19:00 last night until around 3:15 last night there were not enough people, but then it started again for a while before it was peaceful again.
The strongest earthquake in this region last night was 4.2 on the Richter scale, and yesterday’s strongest earthquakes were 4.4 and 4.3.
- We still haven’t detected an eruption on the painters, and we haven’t noticed that an eruption has started, otherwise we have to be on our way now, the Meteorological Office wins the offer.
On Mbl.is video recordings from the forest at Fagradalsfjall should be downloaded directly.
